DAY OF THE AFRICAN CHILD:Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla says welfare of children must be prioritized.

MBABANE:Thulisile Dladla, the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) says Government, parents and all stakeholders have an obligation to prioritize the welfare of children and ensure that they are protected and taken care of.

The DPM was speaking on Monday during the commemoration of the Day of the African Child, the event that took place in Mbabane was hosted in collaboration with the United Nations International Children Emergency Fund(UNICEF) and Children’s Consortium.

Government online platforms reported that, the Deputy Prime Minister reiterated eSwatini’s unwavering commitment to children’s well-being.

“We must ensure that all national plans are inclusive and responsive to children’s needs," she stated, reaffirming Eswatini’s pledge to implement transparent, well-costed budget allocations across education, health, and child protection to build national resilience,” she said.
