MBABANE:Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, says no one will be arrested in connection with the recent ritual killing of children across the country.
Speaking to the State owned radio on Wednesday morning, the Police Spokesperson said, the suspect has been discovered to be mentally disturbed and not prosecutable”, adding that another suspect was a minor.
“So we won’t arrest or prosecute anyone after these killings”, he said.
The ritual killings and harvesting of human body parts including that of women and children occur annually in eSwatini and, the police normally downplay the situation by identifying innocent citizens and label them as suspects just to calm the situation and then, abandon the case only for the killings to commence the following year.
The children normally disappear and murdered during King Mswati’s Incwala ritual ceremony and other national ritual prayers, the police are normally deployed and take pictures as if they are searching for the children and the cases will then die a natural death.

“We won’t arrest anyone for recent ritual killing of children as suspect is mentally disturbed”, Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati tells State owned radio after harvesting of human body parts.
