LOBAMBA:Marwick Khumalo, the Lobamba Lomdzala Member of Parliament(MP) says Parliament must consider halting all Government projects and focus on addressing the ongoing health crisis.
Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, the MP said, the Legislature risk losing public confidence if the health crisis remain unresolved.
“Nalabantfu batawugcina sebatsi kute kuletintfo lesatikhetsa because we speak but the crisis remain unresolved. Cabinet as a collective, must be directed to address this crisis, we might as well consider stopping everything and focus on this issue,” he said.
The Lobamba MP said, citizens in the rural areas are now putting pressure on MPs, asking for money to buy medication.
“Some MPs have even opted to switch-off their cellphones and by so doing, they risk losing elections because once you switch-off your phone, the people will says; lona samkhetsa wabese uvala lucingo”, he said.
