LOBAMBA:Welcome Dlamini, the Mbabane East Member of Parliament(MPs) says, perhaps MPs and Cabinet Ministers must have their Medical Aid benefit forfeited so that, they can feel the pain like all emaSwati amid shortage of drugs in public hospitals.
Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, the MP said as MPs, they have a Medical Aid benefit and therefore, “they are not treated in the various hospitals” hence the health crisis will remain a theory to them.
“Perhaps, let’s have our Medical Aid benefit stopped so that we can vigorously work on the shortage of drugs issue because if as MPs, we were receiving medical treatment in the various hospitals, we would be taking this issue seriously”, said the MP.
