MBABANE: The Pretoria High Court has stopped the family of former Zambian President Edgar Lungu from burying him in South Africa, the South African Broadcasting Corporation(SABC) reported.
This comes after the Zambian Government successfully filed a lawsuit against the family of the late former President, seeking to stop his burial in South Africa that was scheduled to take place on Wednesday.
The Zambian Government argued that, no burial should take place “until disputes surrounding Lungu’s final resting place are resolved”, President Edgar Lungu was a close friend to King Mswati.
