But after reporting the case, the Army Commander allegedly sent Major Ngcamphalala to negotiate that the matter be referred to the Military Court or alternatively, steal the documents.

Police detectives allegedly contacted Brigadier Zenzele Dlamini to inform him that, Major Ngcamphalala was at the Mafutseni Police Station to try and convince them to steal the documents and sabotage the criminal case, Major Ngcamphalala was allegedly acting on the instructions of the Army Commander.

On Wednesday this week, Brigadier General Dlamini ran to the Mafutseni Police Station again and this time, to open another criminal case of defeating the ends of justice, Major Bonga Ngcamphalala has been included as a suspect by attempting to steal the documents on behalf of the Army Commander.

“Brigadier Ace Dlamini is following this case very closely, utsi yena ufuna umuntfu estokisini akafuni lelicala liye ku-Military Court. Now he wants the Head of the Military Police to be investigated and questioned why he wants the matter to be referred to the Military Court. Is he confirming that soldiers were indeed unleashed to attack Ace?”, said one of the police sources.

Police Spokesperson Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati had not responded at the time of compiling this report.

Reached for comments by this Swaziland News on Thursday, Army Spokesperson Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo said, “she can’t comment on a matter that is being investigated” by the police.

“Kindly touch base with the compatible law enforcement agency in this regard,” said the Army Spokesperson.

It has been disclosed that, Brigadier General Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini did not take kindly to the decision of the Army Commander to try and intimidate the police “who are investigating the case by sending the Head of the Military Police to Mafutseni Police Station to try and steal the documents”.
