MBABANE:King Mswati is highly expected to decide as Army Commander refuses to resign and is alleged to have defied an order stopping him from attending the Correctional Services Day.

It has been disclosed that during the Correctional Day last week, the Army Commander arrived and went straight to sit with other Guests “while monitoring if there was anyone who might stop him” he was pictured sitting with other security officers when in fact, he was supposed to be with Commissioner General Phindile Dlamini and National Commissioner Vusi Masango to welcome both the Prime Minister and the King.

“As a result he did not welcome the Prime Minister because he was sitting there monitoring the situation and when the King arrived, he quickly went straight to welcome him knowing that, no one will cause a drama, stop and remove him next to the King.Inkhosi yavele yabindza yambuka kabi”, said a senior soldier.

But earlier on Saturday, this Swaziland News reported that, the Army Commander ran to Mozambique to consult traditional healers amid tension within the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF), he declined to comment.

An influential Prince within the Ministry of the Defense and State Security confirmed to this Swaziland News that, the Army Commander is going home.

“Besimcelile kutsi asekahlale ngasekhaya kuchubeke luphenyo lolubekwe iNkhosi sambona vumbu! nge-Correctional Services Day. Kani phela nakukhona lokunukako emvakwakho ngesintfu uyaye utsi “ngente ngasondzela eMakhosini neliphunga”, Angiyiteki-ke nasotjeliwe kutsi ungasondzeli. Lokusho kutsi-ke Ingwenyama seyitawubona kutsi yenta njani ngoba lesimo siya ngekuba sibi, the Army is divided ngenca ya-Commander,” said the Prince.

The Army Commander who is now a subject of a royal investigation allegedly looted about R20million monies belonging to soldiers and subsequently closed the Burial Fund that was assisting soldiers with “imali yekulila” amounting to twelve thousand Rands(R12,000.00) when visiting families to mourn the death of another soldier.

But apart from that, the Commander Fakudze has been receiving five thousand Rands(R5,000.00) per-week as “litiya la-Commander” from Hlalawati, a Saving and Cooperative Fund belonging to soldiers, the looted monies since Fakudze took over as the Army Commander, amount to about R1million.

A few days ago, this publication reported that, the Army Commander informed Commanding Officers(COs) during a meeting held at Nokwane Headquarters that, King Mswati “has commissioned an investigation to investigate the allegations published by the Swaziland News against him”.

The Army Commander is also facing arrest after allegedly unleashing soldiers to attack Brigadier General Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini with weapons of war, Brigadier Dlamini subsequently opened a criminal case at Mafutseni Police Station and has been making a follow-up with the police insisting that, he wants nothing but, to see a suspect(siboshwa) behind bars
