MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has expressed heartfelt condolences following the death of former Prime Minister Prince Mabandla, the King’s Advisor.
In a statement released on Sunday, the PM said, Prince Mabandla was not only a politician but, a humble unifying figure and a custodian of Swati culture and tradition.
“Prince Mabandla dedicated his life to the service of Eswatini, playing a pivotal role in shaping the country’s early governance and development. As Eswatini’s third Prime Minister post-Independence, Prince Mabandla’s leadership laid the foundation for the modern Eswatini State, marked by wisdom, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of its people. Beyond his political contributions, Prince Mabandla was a respected member of the King’s Advisory Council, a humble and unifying figure, and a custodian of Swati culture and tradition,” reads the statement in part.
