MBABANE:Former National Commissioner Senator Isaac Magagula visited the Green Pastures Savings and Cooperative Offices in Manzini on Tuesday.
But junior police officers subsequently contacted this Swaziland News and shared videos amid fears Magagula was allegedly there to loot their multimillion savings.
Senator Magagula was at the centre of the misappropriation of millions budgeted by Government to increase salaries for junior cops under Phase two(II), he allegedly created various Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioners posts and subsequently laundered the money among the Executive Command, leaving junior officers in a worse financial situation.
The former National Commissioner declined to comment about the visit.
On another note, junior police officers told this publication that, with Army Commander Mashikilisane Fakudze accused of looting savings belonging to soldiers, they were also concerned after seeing Magagula visiting their Green Pastures Savings Offices.
“Maybe he was there to receive “litiya la-Commander”, asisetsembi lutfo phela. Ufunani nje etimalini tetfu lomuntfu lona. He was once accused of stealing our R4million,” said a police officer.
