MBABANE:Prince Mshila, the Mliba National Court President and Maphalaleni Chief has vigorously denied allegations suggesting that, he was not maintaining his child.
Responding to this Swaziland News on Wednesday after the mother of his child Angel Vilane confirmed that she reported him to the Social Welfare demanding child maintenance, the Prince said, “he is a responsible parent and husband who takes care of his family”.
The mother to the Chief’s child accuses the Prince of refusing to maintain his child adding that, legitimate institutions are reluctant to take legal action against him due to his high profile status in the country.
“I’ve reported him to Social Welfare and Ludzidzini and I’m told that he can’t be taken to court because he is a Chief”, she said.
But the Maphaleni Chief clarified these allegations saying, “Angel Vilane is not just the mother of his child” but, a legitimate wife.
“Angel Vilane is not just a mere mother of my child but above that, she is my wife yiNkhosikati leyo ushiye likhaya wabonakala sekatijabulisa eLwandle eMaputo sekafake titfombe latincingweni. I bought a car for her saying she will use the car to transport and take care of my child, the car disappeared. Just like my other wives, I was giving her money monthly but she decided to leave the home and rent a house in Matsapha without my permission. I then decided to stop giving her the monthly allowance as a wife as she was using my money to enjoy with other men after living the home.
