MBABANE:Channel S journalist Kimberly Mavuso, the alleged State Army Intelligence spy who previously denied that he was working as a soldier when questioned by this Swaziland News, is actually preparing to take over as the Spokesperson of the Umbutfo Eswatini Defense Force(UEDF) amid tension in the Army.
Mavuso is the Executive member of the Eswatini National Association of Journalists(ENAJ), he was allegedly deployed to work in the media as an alleged State spy together with Times Sunday journalist Mfankhona Nkambule and others.
But on Thursday, Mavuso who is part of the faction supporting the current Army Commander Mashikilisane Fakudze, was hard at work at Mbuluzi Army Barracks, he was working with the Army Commander during an event held at Mbuluzi Army Barracks, the was meant to award soldiers who completed training.
But Army sources shared information where Mavuso was giving instructions on how the information must be shared to the various media houses for damage control amid a series of scandals involving the Army Commander.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, Army Spokesperson Lieutenant Tengetile Khumalo appears to be aware that, “journalist Kimberly Mavuso is a soldier positioned” to take over her position as the Spokesperson but, she welcomed the Army Commander’s decision.

Kimberly Mavuso joined and Army but, he later bounced back as a State spy and a trusted servant of the current Army Commander, he is also the Executive member of the Association of Journalists working with other alleged State spies that include Times journalist Mfankhona Nkambule to cause confusion within the journalists organization.
