MBABANE:Simangaliso Gama,the Mbabane Councillor who was previously exposed by this Swaziland News independent online publication for allegedly engaging in a fraudulent sale of land, has been charged with fraud.
Gama allegedly colluded with former Mbabane Mayor Zaphaniah Nkambule to defraud Make Diana Ntombizodwa Mnisi the said amount by selling her land that was already sold.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News this week, Mbabane Mayor Thulani Mkhonto said, “he can’t comment as the matter is being handled” internally.
“I am not aware if he has been charged with fraud because it’s an internal and independent disciplinary process and, I’m not involved but, waiting for a report from the Disciplinary Tribunal”, said the Mayor.
It is alleged that, the Mayor instructed Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Gciniwe Fakudze to immediately establish the Disciplinary Tribunal to investigate the allegations published by this Swaziland News against the Councillor and the process is ongoing.
