LOGOBA:Colonel Phindile Mmema, the wife to King Mswati’s Royal Close Protection Unit(RCPU) allegedly unleashed soldiers to harass and subsequently destroy a property belonging to Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors leader Timothy Myeni, the former Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP).
The incident happened this week in Logoba, the former MP and the senior soldier “are allegedly involved in a land dispute”, Colonel Mmema subsequently used her military powers to harass ex-MP Timothy Myeni.
In a message sent to the editor of this Swaziland News Zweli Martin Dlamini, Myeni confirmed that, soldiers arrived to destroy his property.
“She sent soldiers to destroy my property and I’m wondering if the Army is now involved in land disputes,” said the former MP.
Efforts to seek a comment from Colonel Mmema proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
On another note, former MP Timothy Myeni said he will restore damaged fencing wire damaged by the senior soldier.
