MBABANE:Sifiso Jele of SM Jele Attorneys is the lawyer behind the alleged bullying of Gogo Dlamini, the widow to the late businessman ‘Top Hits’ Dlamini.
The widow alleged that, “the lawyer is grabbing everything on behalf of ‘out-of-wedlock’ children” but in a letter of demand seen by this Swaziland News, lawyer Jele appears to be armed with a court order.
“You are hereby directed to make rental payments to S.M Jele Trust account number(attached below). You are further directed not to pay any rentals to Swaziland Property Market or the trustee Nomsa Dlamini. Our clients Majaha, Nonhlanhla and Nozipho Dlamini have orders of court against the trust which you are expected to comply with”, reads the letter in part directed to all ‘Top Hits’ tenants.
Efforts to reach the lawyer for a comment proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Speaking to this Swaziland News, Gogo Dlamini said, he gave the children over R1million to share but after spending the money, they subsequently came back for more.
“I am now struggling with nothing to eat”, she said.
Nonhlanhla Dlamini, the Executive Director of the Eswatini Action Group Against Abuse(SWAGAA) “described what is happening” to Gogo Dlamini as abuse.
“The widow was so generous and demonstrated humanity by giving the children the over R1million to share, that’s a huge amount of money and the children were supposed to invest it if they wanted to have more money. Inkinga labantfwana banyalo abasafuni kusebenta, bafuna kudla nje labakukhandzile. She must come to our offices so we can help her in this matter,” said the SWAGAA Executive Director.
A lawyer who contacted this publication after reading Gogo Dlamini’s story on Sunday evening, pledged to assist her in the matter.
