MBABANE:Lawyer Sifiso ‘Charlie’ Jele allegedly used fraudulent means to obtain a court order with intention to collect rent from businessman ‘Top Hits’ Dlamini’s tenants, leaving widow Gogo Dlamini with nothing to eat.
The lawyer is alleged to have used a ‘fake return of service’, claiming to have served court papers to Gogo Dlamini but, it later transpired that, a court order was issued by Judge Mumcy Dlamini in the absence of Gogo Dlamini who was not even aware of the court proceedings.
Efforts to reach lawyer Sifiso Jele proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News on Monday, Manzini lawyer Nhlanhla Enerst Ginindza of NE Ginindza Attorneys confirmed that, a questionable court order was used to collect rent from the tenants.
“We are challenging the court order because it was obtained without serving Gogo with court papers,” he said.
Gogo Dlamini, the widow to the late businessman ‘Top Hits’ Dlamini told this publication that, lawyer Sifiso Jele used the said questionable court order to collect rent from tenants, leaving her with nothing to eat.
It has been disclosed that, now that Gogo Dlamini’s lawyers are challenging the questionable court order, “lawyer Sifiso Charlie Jele who is representing the out-of-wedlock children”, cannot collect rent from the tenants pending the judgement in rescission application.
