MBABANE:Chief Mvemve Hlophe has applauded Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini for remembering Orphans and Vulnerable Children(OVCs) in his home area LaMgabhi eTiyeni.
The Chief sent Indvuna Khabazela Mhlanga and senior members of LaMgabhi uMphakatsi including Ngwane Hlophe and eMadvuna to represent him and grace the event held at LaMgabhi Primary School on Friday, the editor was delivering shoes to all needy children and one hundred and twenty-eight(128) children benefited from this donation.
The editor further slaughtered a cow for the children and Guests that included all members of the School Committee and elders of LaMgabhi uMphakatsi, this was part of his Birthday Celebration.
“I’ve been sent by the Chief to represent him and as uMphakatsi, we appreciate the children’s support from Zwemart, a resident of this area under Chief Mvemve Hlophe. As children, I hope you are learning from this generosity, Zwemart was my classmate, I was sitting next to him in that class at Grade four(4). Now he is coming back to support his school. Nawe-ke nasokhulile Nkulunkulu akubusisile ngabozukwana utawubuya wente loku. Zwemart is a resident of this area, nakuya ekhaya kubo lapha etulu, he has all the rights to fully participate in development activities of this area and ensure that, this community is fully developed”, said Indvuna Khabazela Mhlanga.
