MBABANE:Neal Rijikernberg, the eSwatini Minister of Finance met a delegation from the from the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) on Friday, ahead of Eswatini’s hosting of the 31st Meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee of Senior Officials and Experts (ICSOE) of Southern Africa, scheduled for October 2025, Government online platforms reported.
“The meeting marked the start of a UNECA scoping mission to Eswatini to engage with key stakeholders and lay the groundwork for this high-level regional event under the theme:
“Unlocking AfCFTA’s Potential: Building Value Chains and Overcoming Barriers to Trade in Southern Africa,” reads the Government online report.
