MBABANE:President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced on Sunday night that, he has placed “Police Minister Senzo Mchunu on a leave of absence”, eNCA reported.
This comes amid allegations suggesting that, the Police Minister was interfering in police investigations and that, he stopped and disbanded a Political Killings Task Team.
The South African President further announced that, he has established a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to investigate the allegations exposed by KwaZulu Natal(KZN) Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
