EZULWINI:Ubombo Sugar Limited has won the highest tax contributor award once again, ‘beating’ other giant companies in the private sector.
The giant sugar company was awarded on Friday evening by Finance Minister Neal Rijikernberg and the Commissioner General of the Eswatini Revenue Service(ERS) Brightwell Nkambule during an event held at the Happy Valley Hotel-Ezulwini.
Philile Nxumalo, the Ubombo Sugar Limited Head of Finance accepted the award, she expressed the company’s excitement to be recognized as a leading contributor to social and economic development through paying taxes.
The Client Appreciation Day is an annual event organized by the ERS to appreciate clients and promote further voluntary tax compliance.
