LOBAMBA LOMDZALA:Mancoba Khumalo,the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade has officially opened the Vukani BoMake Cottage Factory at Lobamba Lomdzala, Government online platforms reported.
The Minister thanked all those who contributed to making this dream a reality, including CONCO and Business Eswatini, he stated that Vukani Bomake “is a growing enterprise that began as a small initiative but has now become too significant to overlook”. He further pledged to secure markets for the products manufactured by the women.
Lobamba Lomdzala Member of Parliament(MP) Marwick Khumalo was present during the launch of the factory that seeks to empower women.
The MP helped the women by connecting them to Business Eswatini and CONCO, they subsequently received the assistance through Tokky Hou, the Business Eswatini Women Chairperson.
MP Marwick Khumalo further secured a R1.9million financial support for the women from Micro-projects, Nathie Dlamini, the Business Eswatini CEO, Business Eswatini President Mvuselelo Fakudze, Manzini Regional MP Thandeka Mavuso was also present during the launch of the factory.
