MBABANE:Assistant Superintendent Khulani Mamba, the former Police Spokesperson says he was forced to resign after being accused of leaking State information to Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
Speaking to the Times of Eswatini on Wednesday, Mamba said, Zwemart “has multiple sources within the Police Service but, he was persecuted despite declaring that he was not his source.
“I want the world to know that I am crying tears because I was framed with fabricated charges.I was never involved in the allegations leveled against me. Zwemart had multiple sources within the Police Service,” said the former Police Spokesperson.
Mamba was forced to resign after being accused of leaking confidential information during the political unrest, this was after the editor got hold of a critical document known as the “Operation Order” where the Executive Command of the Police Service was strategizing how the police will be unleashed to shoot and kill protesting civilians.
