FODSWA, One Billion Rising, NNLC protest against harassment of wheel-chaired disabled woman at Family Cash and Carry Supermarket.

MATSAPHA: One Billlion Rising collaborated with the Federation of Organisations of Disabled People in Swaziland(FODSWA) and the Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC) to stage a protest within the premises of Family Cash and Carry Supermarket.

This is the Supermarket where Khethukuthula Mathabela was allegedly harassed and denied entry because of her disability condition as widely reported by this Swaziland News.

Reached for comments, Sipho Dlamini, the FODSWA President said the protest went very well and it sent a strong message to other perpetrators that the rights of people with disabilities must be respected.

Addressing the protestors, Sibongile Mazibuko, the President of Ngwane National Liberatory Congress(NNLC) warned the owner of the Supermarket to refrain from harassing people with disabilities.
