King Mswati and royal family members to travel freely as eSwatini successfully negotiates removal of visa requirements with Serbia for citizens holding diplomatic and service passports.

MBABANE:Pholile Dlamini, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has released a statement, announcing the removal of visa requirements for eSwatini citizens holding diplomatic and service passports who might wish to travel to Serbia.

“This agreement marks a significant milestone in the diplomatic relations between Eswatini and Serbia, highlighting the commitment of both Nations to strengthening bilateral ties and facilitating easier official travel,” reads the statement in part.

The removal of the Serbia visa requirements will commence from the 13th August 2025, the Foreign Minister said.

Citizens who holds diplomatic and service passports in eSwatini include King Mswati. Ambassadors, King’s wives and children, Cabinet Ministers, security Chiefs and other high profile people.
