MAMBANE:Senator Chief Mvimbi Matse of Mambane has been accused of engaging in ritual killings(kusontsana) and then hand over the human parts to King Mswati.

This was discussed at length in a meeting that took place at Matse’s Mambane uMphakatsi in April, the Chief charged his former Indvuna Masika James Gulwako for allegedly accusing him of engaging in ritual killings.

Reached for comments on Tuesday, former Mambane Indvuna Masina James Gulwako confirmed that, the Chief summoned me to a meeting to discuss the ritual murder allegations.

“It’s true that, I was summoned to a meeting at uMphakatsi but our disagreement with the Chief was triggered by the disappearance of my cattle and I discovered that, the suspect is working with the Chief. Nangibitwa eMphakatsini ngicabange kutsi kuyokhulunywa indzaba yekulahleka kwetinkhomo tami, asuke Shifu agucule inkhulumo atsi mine ngihamba ngitsi yena uyasontsana atsatse ema-human parts ayonika iNkhosi. He even called senior police officers including Station Commanders to question me, I never told anyone that he is engaging in ritual killings on behalf of the King but I was merely looking for my missing cattle,” said the former Indvuna.

But Chief Mvimbi Matse when responding to this Swaziland News on Tuesday evening vigorously denied these allegations, he said Gulwako was questioned because of the serious ritual murder allegations considering the fact that, if “these allegations come from a person who was close to him”, people might conclude that these are facts.

“Ngiyabonga ye-Nkhosi nalokutsi ungishayele ungibute.I was working with Gulwako who was my Indvuna and unfortunately, he would behind my back, spread these false information or allegations against me. It’s painful Nkhosi to be betrayed by someone very close to you akucalele emanga and people will believe him knowing that, he was your Indvuna. So that meeting was meant to warn him to stop what he was doing, Gulwako is also my relative and I don’t know why he decided to do this to me. Kodvwa-ke Nkhosi emhlabeni kuba njalo, umuntfu lometsembako kuvama kuba nguye lokonako, he even accused me of stealing his cattle”, said the Mambane Chief.

The Chief consistently maintained that, he was not in any way, involved in ritual killings adding that, the former Indvuna was out to tarnish his reputation knowing that, people will believe him because he was his right-hand man.
