MBABANE:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has urged visiting Taiwan investors to take advantage of the current warm diplomatic relations between eSwatini and the United States that resulted to low trade tariffs.
The investors were introduced to the PM by Mancoba Khumalo, the Kingdom’s Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade and, they are expected to explore investment opportunities in various industries that include biotechnology, energy, aircraft maintenance, pharmaceuticals, ICT, engineering, textile and food processing.
As reported by Government online platforms, Jeremy Liang, the Taiwan Ambassador was present during the meeting held in Cabinet this week, the investors seek to also penetrate the African market through eSwatini.
“Our relationship with United States is at its peak now so you must take advantage and invest in eSwatini”, said the Prime Minister when addressing and welcoming the investors.
