MBABANE:Vusi Manoma Masango, the eSwatini National Commissioner of Police told Newzroom Afrika this week that, Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala is a subject of an investigation in the tiny Kingdom on allegations of holding an alleged fraudulent Identity Document(ID).
Matlala was exposed by the Times of eSwatini and is alleged to be using the fraudulent eSwatini ID as “Vusimuzi Dlamini”.
The South African businessman is allegedly linked to Police Minister Senzo Mchunu as alleged by KwaZulu Natal Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
But South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has established a Commission of Inquiry to investigate allegations of interference with the functioning of the South African Police Service(SAPS), Matlala is currently kept at Kgosi Mampuru prison in Pretoria on attempted murder charges.
