MANZINI:Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini says the ongoing suicide cases are not isolated or affecting only the police but, a national crisis.
This comes amid calls for a salary increment as more emaSwati are reportedly struggling financially with nothing to eat, amid failure by the Tinkhundla regime to fight poverty.
The Government issued Gazettes allowing companies to underpay workers while civil servants have been struggling without a salary increment or review for over ten(10) years thus worsening the poverty situation in the entire country.
The PM was speaking in Parliament on Wednesday when acknowledging the challenges facing emaSwati not only police officers, however, he sent condolences to the relatives of the two(2) cops who recently committed suicide.
