MBABANE:Thulisile Dladla,the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) has secured R1million donation for Persons with Disabilities.
The donation was made by Shalom Disability Ministries through Child Evangelism Fellowship(CEF) and was formally presented by Jeee Kim and Juhne Nam of CEF, Government online platforms reported.
“The donation includes wheelchairs for children and adults, crutches, canes for the visually impaired and other essential mobility aids.During the handover, Juhne Nam shared the moving story behind Shalom Disability Ministries, founded in 1989 by Rev. Moses Park and his wife in South Korea. The ministry was born out of personal tragedy-the loss of their two daughters in a car accident, which also left Mrs.Park quadriplegic.In response, the couple dedicated their lives to spreading love and support to persons with disabilities around the world”, reads the online report in part.
