MBABANE:Misiwe Jele-Hlatjwako,the wife to Reverend Senzo Hlatjwako and Home Affairs Assistant Immigration Officer who is facing corruption charges, is temporarily free.

This comes after her lawyer Zweli Jele successfully convinced the court to remove the corruption case from the court roll, the senior Government official stands accused of unlawfully issuing permits to foreigners and was arrested by the Anti Corruption Commission(ACC).

But senior lawyer Zweli Jele told the Magistrate’s Court this week that, some actions by the ACC were unlawful and as a result, he filed an application at the High Court, challenging the arrest.

“Some actions by the ACC were unlawful”, said the lawyer.

Principal Magistrate Fikile Nhlabatsi subsequently ordered that, the case be removed from the court roll pending the finalization of the matter filed by the accused through her lawyer, challenging the arrest at the High Court.
