MBABANE: Brian Sangweni, the Spokesperson of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) said his organization supports the calls by Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) for a collaboration in the fight for democracy.
Speaking during an interview on the Swaziland News audio channel, the PUDEMO Spokesperson said they always encouraged such unity in the fight for democratic reforms.
“As PUDEMO, we always encourage unity in the struggle so we can achieve our goal of ushering this country into democracy. It is encouraging to see students and young people supporting such collaborations and unity in the fight for freedom, we have seen young people in other countries in Africa taking the lead in the fight for democracy” , said the PUDEMO Spokesperson.
On Monday Colani Maseko, the President of the Swaziland National Union of Students(SNUS) said students will collaborate with youth organizations, trade unions and political parties in the fight for democracy.
