“Don’t dump but take care of your parents”, Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) Thulisile Dladla urges youth when handing over new Maloma Mine funded houses to the needy.

LUBOMBO:Thulisile Dladla, the Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) has urged young people to take care of their parents.

The DPM was speaking on Thursday when handing over new houses to Lubombo residents, the houses were built by Maloma Colliery in partnership with her Office. 

The first beneficiary was the late Gogo Elizabeth Myeni(95), who received a fully constructed one-room house with a pantry but, Gogo Myeni passed away before the handover. 

Other beneficiaries include Zephaniah Xaba and Zodwa Gamedze of Ncandweni, whose request to His Majesty for assistance with finishing her house was answered with a fully built two-bedroom home. 

“Young people must take care of their parents, what you do to your parents will come back you as you will not remain young”, said the DPM.
