MBABANE:Eswatini MTN Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Wandile Mtshali as the mobile company struggles to generate profits.

Mtshali’s contract was not renewed and, he has been avoiding to clarify other reasons behind his removal when this Swaziland News tried to contact him this week.

One of the MTN senior Managers told this publication that, the Board decided not to renew his contract for poor performance.

But this publication previously reported that, MTN Eswatini has been struggling to generate revenue after the emergence of Eswatini Mobile.

Jerry Soko, a Zambian national takes over the MTN Eswatini Acting Chief Executive Officer, he is currently the MTN Group General Manager of Commercial and Operations for Southern and East Africa.
