MBABANE:Former President Edgar Lungu’s family ran to the Constitutional Court to appeal the Pretoria High Court judgement allowing the Zambian Government to bury the former Head of State in his home country, the South African Broadcasting Corporation(SABC) reported on Friday.
The family wants to bury Lungu in South Africa but the Zambian Government is opposing that saying he “deserves a State funeral in his home country”.
The Lungu family demanded that current Zambian President Hichilema must not attend the funeral hence the decision to bury Lungu in South Africa.
