MBABANE:Sergeant Dumsile Khumalo, the Secretary General of the Royal Eswatini Police Staff Association(REPOSA) is currently facing a disciplinary hearing and might be dismissed by the National Commissioner Vusi Manoma Masango.
Sergeant Khumalo is persecuted merely for representing junior police officers in their ongoing demand for a salary increment under Phase two(II) and, as per the Circular issued by Government in 2014.
But the duration of last week, Khumalo was attending the disciplinary hearing held at the Police Academy with her lawyer Thabiso Mavuso, Senior Superintendent Phindile Vilakati, the Police Spokesperson, declined to comment about the matter.
But Sergeant Khumalo confirmed to this publication that “she is facing a disciplinary hearing”, lawyer Thabiso Mavuso was with her when this Swaziland News reached the Police Union leader for a comment.
The REPOSA Secretary General has been facing persecution for sometime now, she was previously abducted by senior police officers, assaulted and dumped at Mhlambanyatsi forest.
