MBABANE:Women affiliated under the Swaziland Rural Women Assembly(SRWA) gathered at the High Court on Friday in support of their organization’s court case, challenging the dumping of dangerous criminals by the United States(US).
The criminals deported by the US were previously convicted of child rape and murder among other serious crimes, they are from Jamaica, Vietnam and Cuba, Laos and Yemen.
The case seeking to declare the deportations unconstitutional was filed by the Southern African Litigation Centre(SALC), the Swaziland Rural Women Assembly and Swaziland Litigation Centre, the Judge postponed the case to 25th September 2025.
