MBABANE:King Mswati has urged emaSwati living in Japan to lure investors to eSwatini to enhance job creation and contribute to economic growth and development.
Government online platforms reported that, the King was addressing the citizens on the sidelines of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development(TICAD) held in Japan this week. He urged them to spearhead ambitious projects like the proposed R6billion Industrial Park for eSwatini, the project was recently unveiled by the King as part of an investment by Taiwan.
“Being here is a great advantage to gain useful and valuable knowledge. We trust you will be ambassadors to lure investors to Eswatini. It is good that we look to those studying and working here to demonstrate our character as emaSwati. The Japanese should be excited to work with a liSwati.Let us not reach a stage where they do not want to deal with us,” said the King.
