MBABANE:Apollo Maphalala, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development has launched the Mbabane Local Government Master Class, called “Smart City Living”.
Government online platforms reported that, the project is about Masterclass in Local Government and was themed “Property as an Asset”.
It has been reported that, the series of masterclasses “will happen quarterly and designed to go beyond ordinary community meetings”.
The masterclasses will equip citizen-clients, urban residents, and local leaders with advanced knowledge, skills, and strategic perspectives to strengthen governance, improve public services while fostering sustainable community development.
“Property is more than bricks,mortar, or a title deed.Property is security. It is stability.It is dignity.It is the foundation upon which families build their futures, communities shape their identities, and nations advance their development.Without secure access to property, our citizens remain vulnerable, excluded from opportunities and denied the full enjoyment of their rights,” said the Housing and Urban Development Minister.
Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Gciniwe Fakudze and Councillors were present during the official launch.
