MBABANE:Nathie Dlamini, the Business Eswatini Chief Executive Officer(CEO) has applauded Southern Star Logistics for employing more women truck drivers.
The Business Eswatini CEO was speaking on Wednesday in Matsapha and this was during the launch of the “TruckHer Eswatini”, a campaign that will result to Southern Star employing more women truck drivers.
Nic DeWaal, the Southern Star Managing Director said, the Management of the company will ensure that, more women are employed as truck drivers as part of the company’s policies to empower women and provide equal employment opportunities.
On another note, Candy Stromwig from the Eswatini Energy Regulatory Authority(ESERA) praised Southern Star Logistics for the campaign but urged women to work hard so that, the company could see value in employing women.
