MBABANE:Mphilo Dlamini, the former MTN Eswatini Spokesperson now South Africa’s Air Traffic and Navigation Services(ATNS) Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications, has been cleared of all sexual harassment charges.
Dlamini was earlier this year, accused by a junior female employee of sexual harassment but, an independent investigation conducted by a Sandton based lawfirm, subsequently uncovered that he never sexually harassed the female employee and cleared him of all the sexual harassment allegations.
As a result, the ATNS Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications has resumed his duties, he was previously suspended pending the investigation whose terms of reference was to, among others, verify the allegations against him.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News, Dlamini confirmed that “he is now back at work”, adding that he forgave his accuser.
“I thank God that the truth came out and I was vindicated. I am not bitter, and I forgive my accuser wholeheartedly and will continue to work with her as my colleague,” he said.
ATNS is responsible for air traffic control in approximately 6% of the world’s airspace, their services extend further than the familiar air traffic control service, into the provision of vitally important aeronautical information used for all flight planning purposes, as well as search and rescue coordination activities and the maintenance of a reliable navigation infrastructure.
Dlamini has been the Spokesperson of the South African State-owned company since 2024.
