MBABANE:Prince Masitsela daughter-in-law(Makoti) Pearl Muir has been shortlisted as a candidate for the influential Commissioner-Domestic Taxes vacant position.
Muir is the wife to Army Chief of Staff Major General Vusummango Dlamini, the son of the late senior Prince Masitsela.
Reached for comments by this Swaziland News on Thursday afternoon, Ntobeko Dlamini, the Eswatini Revenue Service Director Marketing and Communications said, the revenue institution “has a policy to provide growth opportunities” for the staff by advertising positions internally first.
“At ERS, our recruitment principle is to provide growth opportunities to our staff by advertising positions internally first. In line with this approach, the position of Commissioner Domestic Taxes has been advertised internally,” said the ERS Director-Marketing and Communications.
On another note, ERS will also employ the new Head of Tax Compliance after advertising the post internally.
