MATSAPHA:Army Commander Moses Mashikilisane Fakudze has placed an order for a new Army uniforms at Gcina Army Manufacturing Factory saying he has lost weight due to stress after being subjected to Zwemart’s malicious reporting.

But when placing the order, the Army Commander stated that, “despite the challenges he is going through, he won’t resign saying “he was not employed by Swaziland News editor Zweli Martin Dlamini” but the King.

“Kodvwa noma kunjalo angiyi ndzawo, mine ngitawuva ngeNkhosi hhayi nga-Zwemart”, said the Army Commander when speaking to Head of Gcina Barracks Mduduzi Mntambo this week.

The Army Commander declined to comment about his decision to apply for a new uniform.

Army Commander Mashikilisane Fakudze has been making headlines in this Swaziland News after being accused of abuse of power including fraud and corruption.

But he is facing a new or separate investigation by this publication for allegedly collecting about one hundred thousand Rands(R100,000.00) each from Army recruits even from those who were ‘blessed’ or seconded by King Mswati to join the Army.

Those seconded by royalty to join the Army include Tindvuna te-Libutfu le-Mbali and others who dedicated themselves or their lives to royal duties however, despite being seconded, the Army Commander is alleged to have ordered some of them while at Mbuluzi Army Training Barracks to apply for loans and pay him R100,000.00 each.

The editor of this Swaziland News Zweli Martin Dlamini is currently intensifying investigations into these allegations of corruption but preliminary findings “link the Army Commander to bribery and abuse of power for personal gain”.
