MANZINI:King Mswati has motivated the Eswatini National Provident Fund(ENPF) to work hard as the R100billion turnover aspiration is achievable.
The King made these comments when touring the ENPF Trade Fair Stand on Saturday, the Provident Fund is in the process of converting into a National Pension Fund.
“Leliphupho litawufeza-that vision will come to pass,” said the King after ENPF Chief Executive Officer(CEO) Futhie Tembe made a presentation.
On another note, the ENPF CEO thanked the King for his forward-looking vision about the Eswatini National Pension Fund.
“Based on current projections and our growth trajectory, we believe the target could be reached even earlier; within 42 years,Your Majesty,” she said.
Tembe said, the Fund’s transformation “was more than numbers” adding that, it was about securing the dignity for all workers, from the formal and informal sectors by converting from a Provident Fund which paid lump sums that quickly ran out, into a true National Pension Scheme offering a monthly income for life.

King Mswati says Provident Fund will achieve R100billion target after converting into a National Pension Fund.
