MBABANE:Nancy Tembo, the Malawi Minister of Foreign Affairs has assured the Head of the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Troika Observation Mission Themba Masuku that, the country remains committed to conducting free and fair elections.
Masuku, the eSwatini former Deputy Prime Minister(DPM) is leading the SADC Troika Observation Mission tasked with monitoring the elections in Malawi.
The former eSwatini DPM was appointed by incoming SADC Troika Chairman King Mswati, he met the Malawi Foreign Minister this week ahead of the elections on the 16th September 2025.
On another note, the SADC Troika Head of Observation thanked the Foreign Affairs Minister for the warm welcome and further congratulated Malawi for the prevailing peaceful environment ahead of the election.
