JOHANNESBURG : Why Swazi Prime Minister Dr Barnabas Sibusiso Dlamini’s son is now known “Dlamini Barnabas Sibusiso Muzi” in his Personal Identification Number?

This is one of the questions that transpired during an intensive investigation regarding the dealings of the PM that saw millions of Emalangeni looted from public coffers through a company known as Peacock Transport (PTY) LTD. The company’s dealings with Inyatsi and Kukhanya Construction were marred by allegations of corruption due to conflict of interest involving the Prime Minister. The questionable ID was used to register Peacock Transport (PTY) LTD, a company that subsequently benefited millions of public funds through construction tenders involving the said two major construction companies. It transpired during the course of the investigation that company documents of Peacock were hidden with the office of the Register of Companies together with other companies such as Swazi Mobile where powerful figures hold shares.

This Swaziland News publication is in possession of a bundle of documentary proof that substantiates how public funds were looted through this company, however more details will be published in the next edition after evidence analyses has been conducted.

The PM’s son who is the General Manager Finance at the Swaziland Post and Telecommunication Corporation (SPTC) is the Director of Peacock together with his sisters being Dlamini Sibusisiwe and Fikile Dlamini-Gama, the wife of Bhekithemba Gama, Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Information Communication and Technology (ICT).The Head of Government when asked by this Swaziland News publication to respond on the dealings of the company said this reporter should just focus on him and stop involving other people in the matter.

“If you are focusing on me just do so instead of involving other people” he said. The Prime Minister failed to specifically respond to the questions but instead tried to reason with this journalist saying he shouldn’t continue writing about him. The company to which the PIN was used to activate it as a legal persona had business dealings with Inyatsi and Kukhanya Construction, these entities enjoys tenders from government. When questions were sent to the Prime Minister’s son seeking his comment especially on why he named “Dlamini Barnabas Sibusiso Muzi” he failed to respond.

Further investigations revealed that the PM’s son previously applied for a passport that was later cancelled in favor of a new one reflecting his names as “Dlamini Barnabas Sibusiso Muzi” The reason for cancelling the travel document could not be ascertained but an investigation is being conducted by this Swaziland News publication in that regard. The ongoing investigations by this publication comes after reports that the Swazi government is broke, now the question that needs answers is, where did the taxpayers’ money go?
