MBABANE: President Cyril Ramaphosa, the Chairperson of the Southern African Development Community(SADC) Troika on Politics, Defense and Security says after meeting King Mswati on Tuesday, it was resolved that eSwatini would embark on a process that would work towards the establishment of a national dialogue forum.
In a public statement released on Tuesday 02 November 2021, the SADC Troika Chairperson said the audience with Mswati came after a visit to the Kingdom by Special Envoys on the 21 and 22 October 2021 who had been directed to visit the Kingdom by the President in his capacity as Chair of the SADC Organ Troika.
“The deliberations resolved that the Kingdom of Eswatini will embark on a process that will work towards the establishment of a national dialogue forum”, said the SADC Troika Chairperson.
The President stated that the dialogue forum would be established in accordance with the eSwatini Constitution and after the Incwala ceremony.
