MBABANE: The politically motivated case for pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) who are critical of King Mswati and his Government was on Wednesday postponed to December 2021.
The MPs who were leading the ongoing calls for democratic reforms in Parliament were arrested in July 2021 as per an order issued by King Mswati.
Speaking to this Swaziland News after the court proceedings, Sicelo Mngomezulu, the South African Correspondent Attorney for the pro-democracy MPs said the case was postponed to 6-9 December 2021.
“The case has been postponed to 6-9 December 2021. Today, State witnesses testified and all the witnesses are police officers, none of them implicated the MPs”, said the lawyer.
The MPs arrived in court with high confidence, they had vowed to continue fighting for democracy.

Pro-democracy MPs Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube
