MBABANE: Timothy Myeni, the Nkilongo Member of Parliament(MP) says he regrets supporting the Tinkhundla government for all these years.

Speaking to this Swaziland News, the MP said he was honoured to be appointed by incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) Bacede Mabuza and Mthandeni Dube as their Spokesperson in the midst of the ongoing calls for democratic reforms.

“I regret supporting this government that failed the people, we need democracy. Regarding the appointment by the arrested pro-democracy MPs, let me say I am honoured to be appointed as their Spokesperson”, he said.

MP Myeni has been vocal in Parliament since he announced his position as a pro-democracy MP who represented the views and political aspirations of the people of Nkilongo.
