MBABANE: Ncamiso Ngcamphalala, the Secretary General of the Economic Freedom Fighters Swaziland (EFFSWA) says their Commander-in-Chief Julius Malema and his Executive continues to provide them with support as they prepare for the political dialogue facilitated by the SADC Troika.
SADC stands for the Southern African Development Community and it’s Troika Organ on Politics, Defense and Security intervened during the political unrest and proposed a political dialogue that was welcomed by King Mswati and other political stakeholders.
But Ncamiso Ngcamphalala of the Secretary General of the EFF Swaziland said they were also working with the Political Parties Assembly(PPA) to ensure that the dialogue was held on a neutral ground.
“We are working closely with our Commander-in Chief who continues to guide us by providing advice where necessary. It should be noted that we are also working with the PPA to ensure that the dialogue is held on a neutral ground and that the incarcerated pro-democracy Members of Parliament(MPs) be released before any dialogue could take place”, said the EFF Swaziland Secretary General.
Efforts to reach Thabile Mdluli, the eSwatini Government Deputy Spokesperson proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report.
King Mswati stands accused of fueling a political unrest in eSwatini by banning the delivery of petitions, he subsequently unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
