GUNS SMUGGLING STORY: Prince Sicalo’s urgent court application against editor to be heard on Tuesday.

MBOMBELA: Prince Sicalo Nkopolo Dlamini\'s urgent court application where he is seeking an interdict against editor Zweli Martin Dlamini and this Swaziland News will be heard today(Tuesday) at 1000hours.

Prince Sicalo, the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Defense filed an urgent application at the Mpumalanga High Court of South Africa seeking an order to interdict the editor from publishing what he described as private information about him including his passport numbers.

The Prince is also demanding five hundred thousand (R500,000.00) from the editor and this publication in respect of alleged damages. 

This comes after this publication exposed how the Prince, a first born son of Mswati allegedly crossed the border to meet other State security agents to smuggle guns into eSwatini to be used in the ongoing shooting and killing of civilians.

Prince Sicalo is represented by Mathopo Attorneys in this matter while the editor’s legal team that is expected to defend the matter include Senior Counsel Myron Dewyance, Advocate Karusha Pillay and lawyer Bukhosi Sibanda.
