HHELEHHELE: Inyatsi Construction, a company with alleged links to King Mswati had its equipment worth millions burnt by ground forces allegedly linked to the mass democratic movement.
This comes after King Mswati unleashed soldiers and the police to shoot and kill dozens of civilians merely for demanding democratic reforms.
The King subsequently told those calling for democratic reforms that eSwatini belonged to him.
Michello Shakantu, the Director of Inyatsi Construction did not respond when this publication called him for a comment regarding the latest developments.
Mswati revived the political unrest after abducting students union leader Colani Maseko and subsequently charged him with Sedition.
“We have burnt the garage belonging to the mechanic who sells our comrades to the police, we are now going to burn Inyatsi depot”, said the Commander of the ground forces in a message sent to this editor in the early morning hours of Thursday.
Indeed, Inyatsi depot at Hhelehhele was burnt as promised by the Commander of the ground forces.
At the time of compiling this report, a battalion of police officers were at the scene inspecting the damage.
